Demand Peace

We need to be clear about one thing: These wars are not happening because of Trump. Militaristic imperialism and mayhem have been the norm under every modern U.S. President. It’s what they do.

These wars are happening because they make money — directly, via weapons sales, and indirectly, in service of acquiring more wealth and resources for the mega-corporations (which are owned and controlled by the top 0.1%).

The current conflicts are not happening because of Israel. Yes, the zionist lobby exerts enormous influence, but they are players in a larger game. Israel is a pet project of the billionaires, and they are the source of that influence.

Calling out the root causes is crucial. The billionaire class has much too much wealth, and they use that wealth to corrupt our government and politics, to make them operate in their interests, not ours (the 99%).

We need to demand peace. But when we’re doing that, we also need to connect the dots and demand an end to the root causes of war: Big money corruption in our government and politics.

Yes, Donald Trump should be impeached and removed from office immediately. But replacing Trump with another uniparty “player in the game” will not solve the problem.
